Thank You

On the second day of The Hari Raya this year, my family and I visited one of our relatives.  We went there by car.  Her house locates on a narrow street so that someone driving his/her vehicle, whether it is a car or a motorcycle, has to be more careful and drive his/her vehicle more slowly.
As soon as we left her house, not far from there a motorcycle was parked by its owner in such a way so that it blocked the street.  I felt angry at that time. How could somebody be so inconsiderate?  Did they never think of someone else? So we started to blow our car horn.  After doing it for a few times, the owner of the motorcycle came out from a house and moved his motorcycle so that we could pass through the street.
Although he had moved his motorcycle, I still felt upset. I was reluctant to say thank you. But then said, “He has moved his motorcycle. That means he has realized his mistakes. So that it would be find if we say thank you to him.” And that was exactly what we did.
What lesson can I learn from that story? First, be considerate every time you do something. Always think of someone else feeling and interest. Second, do not ever hesitate to say thank you every time someone does something good to you. Third, be ready to forgive someone else if they admit their mistakes.
